Terms of service

  1. Acceptance of Terms

1.1. Agreement: These Terms of Service ("ToS") govern your access to and use of the facilities and services provided by Güs Wellness Limited (referred to as "Güs," "we," "us," or "our"). By booking a session, purchasing a membership, or entering our premises, you agree to be bound by these ToS. 1.2. Minimum Age: Use of all Güs services and facilities is restricted to individuals aged 18 years and over.

  1. Assumption of Risk and Waiver

2.1. Mandatory Waiver: Access to any Güs thermal or cryotherapy facilities (Saunas, Cold Plunges) is strictly conditional upon the mandatory digital acceptance of the separate Participant Waiver and Release of Liability via our Kenko booking platform.


2.2. Contractual Acceptance: By accepting these ToS, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of the Waiver, including the Assumption of Risk inherent in thermal and cold exposure activities and the Declaration of Fitness to Participate.

  1. Booking, Cancellation, and Access

3.1. Cancellation Policy (6-Hour Window): All single sessions or credits must be cancelled a minimum of 6 hours prior to the scheduled start time to be eligible for a credit to the customer's account.


3.2. No-Shows and Late Cancellations: If you fail to cancel a session within the 6-hour window or are a No-Show, you will forfeit the session fee or the credit will be deducted from your account. No refunds will be given for No-Shows or late cancellations.


3.3. Late Arrival Policy: * Open Sessions (Self-Guided Sauna): Late arrivals are permitted, but no additional time will be added to the session, which concludes at its original scheduled end time. * Güs Sessions (Saunagus): Late arrivals are permitted but must wait until the start of the next guided round to enter the sauna, to avoid disruption to the ongoing guided experience. Management reserves the right to deny entry to the session if the disruption risk is deemed too high.


3.4. Facility Access: We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate the session of any customer who, in the reasonable opinion of Güs staff, is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or whose behaviour compromises the safety or experience of other clients.

  1. Membership and Credit Rules

4.1. Minimum Term: All Güs memberships are subject to a minimum binding term of 3 calendar months unless otherwise specified in the membership contract.


4.2. Termination: Membership termination requires written advanced notice equal to the frequency of your payment (e.g., one month's notice for a monthly membership) and cannot take effect until the 3-month minimum term has expired.


4.3. Refunds: All membership fees and pre-purchased session credits are non-refundable, except in cases of proven, exceptional circumstances at the sole discretion of Güs management (e.g., verifiable long-term medical inability to use the facilities). We do not offer pro-rata refunds.


4.4. Pausing/Freezing: Requests to pause or freeze a membership will be handled by Güs management on a case-by-case basis. Submission of a request does not guarantee approval.

  1. Intellectual Property (IP) and Code of Conduct

5.1. Branding IP: All trademarks, logos, service names, and branding of Güs Wellness Limited are protected intellectual property. You may not use, copy, or reproduce any Güs branding without express written consent.


5.2. Code of Conduct: You agree to abide by the Güs etiquette guidelines, including the No Mobile Phone Policy in the wet and thermal areas. Failure to follow staff instructions regarding safety and hygiene may result in immediate termination of your session without refund.


5.3. Loss of Property: In line with the Waiver, Güs excludes all liability for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property while on the premises.

  1. Operational Interruption and Force Majeure

6.1. Operational Interruption: Güs is not liable for any financial compensation, refunds, or damages resulting from the temporary closure of any facility (e.g., sauna, cold plunge, showers) due to necessary maintenance, repairs, or technical failures. In such cases, the customer will be offered an equivalent session credit.


6.2. Force Majeure: Güs shall not be liable for any failure or delay in the performance of services resulting from causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to Acts of God (fire, flood), governmental acts or regulations, strikes, utility failures, or unforeseen circumstances that render the facility non-operational.

  1. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

7.1. Governing Law: These Terms of Service, the Waiver, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with The Laws of England and Wales.


7.2. Jurisdiction: You irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with these ToS or their subject matter or formation.
